The Crescent necklace in 925 sterling silver combines a striking presence with exceptionally balanced design. Elegantly curved links interlock precisely to create a distinctive chain measuring 10 mm in width. Flowing contours give this substantial necklace an expressive yet refined character.
Crescent owes much of its appeal to the interplay between dark patina and mirror-polished silver. Deep, darkened recesses contrast with brilliant surfaces that catch the light with every movement. This play of light and shadow accentuates the contours, revealing new details and depth as you look more closely.
At 10 mm wide and just 4.7 mm high, Crescent makes a confident impression while sitting comfortably around the neck. Its articulated structure follows the body naturally. At 61 cm long, it weighs approximately 133.94 g including the box clasp, providing the substantial feel of solid silver without appearing stiff or cumbersome.
A further highlight is the carefully crafted double-button box clasp, developed to complement the necklace. Two side buttons operate a wedge mechanism that releases the clasp tongue when intentionally pressed, helping prevent accidental opening. Several design iterations were needed to achieve the right combination of proportions, appearance and function.
The clasp tongue has its own specially designed decorative pattern, giving even this small detail a distinctive character. It reflects the attention paid to the parts of a piece of jewelry that are not always immediately visible.
Every Crescent necklace is handcrafted in Germany from solid 925 sterling silver. Careful workmanship and precise alignment of the links create a balanced, continuous pattern. Dark patina defines the contours, while the final high polish brings out the silver's characteristic brilliance.
